[Defence Systems & Random Events]
- Added Defence Systems research project (600 research points)
- Unlocks Defence Drones, Ion Cannon, and Orbital Laser modules
- Random attack events trigger after completing Defence Systems research
- Six event types: Pirate Raid, Asteroid Swarm, Rogue Drones, Solar Flare,
Scavenger Fleet, and Debris Impact
- Attack power vs defence power determines outcome
- Events occur every 60-180 seconds randomly
[Module Damage & Repair System]
- Modules can now be damaged by attack events
- Damaged modules show red diagonal stripes and "DAMAGED" label
- Damaged connector modules disconnect modules behind them (cascade effect)
- Disconnected modules display gray with "CUT OFF" label
- Repair costs 100 resources per module
- Repair via right-click menu on damaged modules
[Event Combat Animations]
- Visual combat animations on the system map when events occur
- Enemy ships approach, orbit, and attack the station/colony
- Defence drones and laser beams fire back at attackers
- Explosion effects for destroyed enemies and damaged modules
- Six unique enemy visual designs matching event types
- Animations use offset-based positioning for smooth tracking
- Notifications appear AFTER animation completes (not before)
[Custom Cursor System]
- Full cursor customization in Settings > Cursor tab
- 11 cursor shapes: Normal, Crosshair, Target, Dot, Arrow, Sci-Fi, Ring,
Triangle, Diamond, Hexagon, Brackets
- RGB color pickers for main color and outline color
- Size slider (12-64 pixels)
- Outline thickness control
- Neon glow effect with intensity slider
- Center dot toggle with size control
- Animation options: None, Pulse, Rotate with speed control
- Live preview panel shows cursor in real-time
- Settings persist across sessions
[Orbit Path Toggle]
- New setting: Settings > Game > Show Orbit Paths
- Toggle ON/OFF to show or hide all orbital path lines
- Affects both system view and galaxy view
- Provides cleaner visual when desired
[Debug Console Improvements]
- Console window is now resizable (drag edges/corners)
- Console window is now movable (drag title bar)
- Fixed scrollbar with proper mouse wheel and drag support
- New commands for event system testing:
* event - Force trigger a random attack event (bypasses research)
* nextevent - Show time until next random event
* damage - Damage 1 random module
* damage <n> - Damage n random modules
* damage all - Damage all modules
* damage <x> <y> - Damage module at specific grid position
* repair - Repair 1 damaged module
* repair all - Repair all damaged modules
* status - Show entity status including damage info
BUG FIXES:
- Fixed research state not resetting properly between save/load
- Fixed event animations flickering due to non-deterministic random shapes
- Fixed event notifications appearing before animations completed
- Fixed forced events not working (now bypasses research requirement)
